Chessboard!
I went to Souq Waqif today with Stehlik and found a chessboard.
Mark did most of the haggling bits, but I offered in a Coke. And now I have the coolest chessboard ever.
I think I amused the shopkeeper… as we were leaving he gave me a bracelet. It’s pretty awesome, too.

The stones in the bracelet are nazars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazar_(amulet)) meant to ward off Evil Eyes. You could probably venture a fair ways into Mordor with that thing on.
Cool! They didn’t put that in the user manual. Time to go find some hobbits.
